Welcome to the wonderful Friday each month where Nature Friday comes together with YAM Aunty's FFF!! Make sure to visit YAM Aunty HERE to get the Rulez and join the FFF fun!!

I love new hikes, new places to see....

With lots of wildlife for me...to see!

In Grants I was hoping that would be the case...

I sniffed and I sniffed....

Before having Daddy pick up the pace!

I sniffed some more....is that a bunny I smell?

Sunny came over to confirm an answer not swell.

No bunnies, no lizards, no quail and no raven...

I'll have to keep hunting from my inner haven!
We hope all our friends get to see some Nature (or wildlife) this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
What a bummer that there weren't any animals to sniff and thank goodness there weren't any snakes!
ReplyDeleteWe would not be able to walk there. If there is any threat of a snake, Mom won't let us near the place as she is terrified of them. Too bad you didn't see some furry wildlife.

ReplyDeleteWell, that sign was misleading, then, eh?!! Still, you got to walk daddy on his string, and see some lovely country, so not so bad... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh dear, mine pikshur didn't show up ... mebbe cause it wasn't from "nature"!!! Anyways, sorry your walkabout didn't find any exciting critters this time, purrhaps on your next trail walk they will all come out to greet you. Happy weekend to all ... meows from June.
ReplyDeleteDearest Niece Rosy...I loved your adventure in Grants....and I especially loved this
ReplyDelete"I'll have to keep hunting from my inner haven". AC is an only child. I learned years ago to entertain myself kinda like you 'hunting from your inner haven'!!!
Hugs AC
It's too bad you didn't see any of those creatures when you were on your walk, Rosy. Maybe next time you will.
ReplyDeletewe see an eastern cottontail rabbit several times a week on our walk and I am happy to say no spiders or rattle snakes, but we do see black racers in our yard, in fact have seen a five foot beauty twice in the past week. I LOVE LOVE the photo of Dad and Rosy walking, its special..
ReplyDeletefor myself, I love people watching, no matter where we find humans, there is always something interesting to watch
You tried, that's certain. Maybe next time go out at sunrise and be very, very still, you might see something, I've found it can work here.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite the adventure sweet Rosy! I wouldn't want to see any of those big spiders!
ReplyDeleteWE love your poem with pictures. I sniff my way through a walk, too. XOX Xena
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, that looks like a great place to walk and sniff and not see snakes!"
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get to hunt the bunnies soon. The River Cats, Tigris and Styx
