This season, it seems that some of our usual Spring birds have just stopped by our yard for a day or two before moving on.The Western Tanager usually sticks around most of the Spring and Summer. For some reason, this year they seemed to disappear after only a few days.
Luckily, TC caught a glimpse of them visiting the fountain:

I see you up there Mr. Hummer, but a lot of your friends are missing this year too.
What kind of birds are you seeing in your corner of Blogville??

ReplyDeleteThank you Sunny... I wonder if the climate has anything to do with the migratory movements of the birds? Anyway, you asked a question... here by The Grey yesterday, when the sun made an effort, there were a Robin, Blackbird, Bullfinches, Goldfinches, Caffinches and a Chiffchaff all singing in the backyard I was visiting! Oh, and a few Crows and Gulls. Never without those... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I read teenagers - ha ha ha - pretty pretty birds tho.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful little birdies and you look so pretty in yellow, Sunny!
ReplyDeletePassarinho atraem nosso olhar e o cachorro é muito lindo! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteYou look very summer like in your yellow. We are not much for birds, so we don't really pay attention to them and we don't have any feeders or anything. Mom put squirrel food in our two feeders so we can chase them in our yard. So much for birds here.
ReplyDeleteSunny is "sunny" and so are your birdies today!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful bird and you're such a cutie too, Sunny. We've noticed changes to our usual birds. Our male hummingbird is back but we don't think any females have arrived yet.
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute. I want to kiss that sweet face.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of hummingbirds. We have six large feeders on our patio and hubby has a rough time keeping them full. We have lots of sparrows and lots of doves. We feed all the precious birds.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the girls and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥
