Aaawwww - The Good Ole Days

 

 Aaawwwww, remember the good ole days when we had a big bed to sleep in...

 

 

 

 

 I know, Rosy, it's weird, since we moved here the big beds and our couches have been missing.

 

 

 

 Don't worry girls. I talked to Mama and she says the big beds, along with our couches and the rest of our toys should be here any day now!

 

 

 

From Mama: Our furniture was delayed because our truck driver got COVID over a week ago. Luckily, he has recovered and paws are crossed we get our furniture any day now.

Happy #NationalDogDay !!

Today is the day that all humans spoil their pups with lots of treats and extra long walkies!! 

 

 

 YAYAYAY! But Arty, that sounds like kinda like every day around here. Maybe should make this a day where we are thankful we have such great pawrents who take care of us!

 

 

 That's a great idea Rosy...and we can remember all of the doggies that came before us. We sure are thankful for Angel Bilbo and Angel Dory. They did such a great job of training Mama and Daddy on how to properly spoil...I mean care for their furry family members!

 

 

But...there will still be extra treats along with all that thanking...

 

Right???

Our Favorite Place to Hike

 

Welcome to this week's edition of Nature Friday! Since this weekend is Valentine's Day, we thought we would show you some pictures of a place we all love to hike, the Arcata Marsh!

 

 

 

 Believe it or not, some of the trees are already starting to bloom! We sure hope we don't get another cold snap before Spring truly arrives!

 

 

 

 The trees still have a long way to go before things are green again though.

 

 

 

 

 Not that the marsh doesn't look good in the Winter too.

 

 The clouds and bare limbs of the trees make pretty reflections, don't you think?

 

 

It's easier to see the birdies without leaves on the trees too!

 

 

 

 Plus, we can go for longer hikes when it's cooler outside.

 

 

 

 We have to say that although it's pretty in the winter, we are also looking forward to the sunnier days of Spring!

 Well this isn't so bad, Arty. Mama only has us in cute little hats and bandanas.

 

 

 

 

 Not bad at all Jakey, maybe we'll escape the "full dress up" this year!

 

 

 

  

 I wouldn't bet on it boyz,  a box from Chewy.com arrived late last week and it didn't smell like foodies!!

Today, the whole LLB Gang is joining Brian for Thankful Thursday to announce  how grateful we are football is back on TV! 

 

 

 

 

Not that any of our pawrents college or professional teams are doing well...

BUT

 

 

 

 

 We ARE thankful the games keep Mama busy for a few hours each weekend!

After our walks,  there is less time for her dress us up in those silly Halloween costumes she has for us wear!

 

 

 

Ummmm, guys, I just heard Mama saying something about her teams not playing this weekend. Then I heard her tell Daddy she may need his help doing something called "wrangling".

 

 Uh oh.....

Different Strokes for Different Pups

 

 Rosy here today, along with Arty,  to let you know how thankful we are Mama and Daddy came up with a vacation plan to fit everyone this year!! Sunny, Jakey and I will be headed out in a few days on an week long RV camping trip to my home state of Utah, while Arty will be heading to a local camp to spend some time romping around with his camp friends...but don't worry, Arty has been traveling around lately too!

 

 

 That's right Rosy, this year Mama is taking me on lots of day trips. We have gone to the Redwood Forest, the beach and even Sequoia Gardens!  You know how I love to spend quality time with Mama(and Daddy too) and since Sunny and I still don't see eye to eye all the time, it's definitely for the best!

 

 

 

 So stay tuned next week, I'll be here everyday to show you all the places Mama and I visited.

 

 

 

 We'll make sure Mama takes lots of pictures and we will be reporting on our trip when we return! Don't worry if you don't see us commenting much in the next week or so, we plan on doing LOTS of hiking, playing, sightseeing, playing, photo shoots and, of course, playing!
