A Walk in the Garden on Nature Friday

Welcome to another episode of Nature Friday! Today, I'm coming to you from the beautiful Humboldt Botanical Gardens! Summer is in full swing, the sun has stayed out and everything is blooming like crazy!! Take a look at what we saw this visit!!

We started by walking by a Kousa Dogwood tree covered in blooms!!

Such beautiful blooms, don't you think??

We passed this pretty flutterby...

Mama thinks it might be a pale swallowtail butterfly

and look, a wild rosy rose!

Mama says it reminded her of her own wild Rosy, teeheehee. I think she might mean ME, BOL!

Look over there!

A beautiful white poppy, and.....

TIGER LILIES!! Aren't they pretty??

Such vibrant reds and oranges against the green...

I think they were my favorite flower at the garden this visit!!

I hope you enjoyed our little walk around the Humboldt Botanical Gardens this week. We hope to come back to take another walk around the garden in search of Rosy Roses in a few weeks!

Thankful for Big Brothers

Hey Brother, how do you do that?

I love my big brother Arty and am so thankful to have him as my mentor. Mama says I even treat him like a super hero even though he sometimes growlies at me. Anyways, the other day while we were playing outside, I noticed he sometimes lifts his leg to go pee pee!!

Can you teach ME to do that Arty??

I let him know how cool I thought it was he could pee on three legs and wondered if he could teach me!

Now, just lift your leg Sunny!

He told me to stand very majestically, make sure all of my feet were sturdy and then lift my back leg! I got the whole majestic thing going but I kept lifting my head instead of my leg.


Keep practicing little bit and you'll get it in no time!

He was very patient, and I'll keep practicing...even if he and Mama keep giggling!!

Sunny Aaaawwwwwws and Monday Movie

Sunny here at the keyboard today. Lately, Mama has been saying how much I look like my Angel brother, Bilbo!

She's says his white chin and the little white on his nose look like mine...

I told her not to get too excited...First of all, I is A GIRL and Bilbo was A BOY and next,, my furs will probably get a bunch lighter soon.

Mama says that was ok, Angel Bilbo was definitely one of a kind...and she told me her and Daddy love me lots for just being me!!

Speaking of me, Mama put together a video showing what I did last week!!

Flowerworks on Nature Friday

Tomorrow, here in the US, we are celebrating Independence Day!! Mama says there will be cheezy burgers and lots of playing outside!

We are already sick and tired of the boomers that have been going off this week and decided to do something quieter and pretty to celebrate Independence Day!!
