Angel Dory longed to see fishies under the sea(without getting wet of course) and used her imagination to help her see them in her story Once Upon a Time Under the Sea.

Travel Tuesday

 Jakey here today to wish everybuddy a very Happy Travel Tuesday!!

Before I share our fun stay at the Sou'wester resort, I thought I would show

 you around our RV!!

Here it is from the outside! Once again, the RV place must have heard the Blogville Mayor would be traveling in it because it was brandy new!

 This is our bedroom that we shared with Mama and Daddy for one night before we decided it might be better for one of the peeps to sleep elsewhere

as they were hogging all of the bed!

 Here is the view from our bedroom. The peeps had a little bathroom directly to the left in this picture.

 Now, on to our stay!!

It was pouring rain when we arrived and again when we left, so we didn't get to see much of the place. But Mama took us on a quick walkabout before we left. You can visit the Sou'wester Homepage

 Mama loved the "Artsy" feel of this place from the Lodge...It was built in 1892 and the upstairs was originally a ballroom!!!

 They had all knds of cool stuff in  the "honor system" Thrifty Trailer!

 The vintage trailers were adorable!

Mama says the next time we take a trip or she goes on a photo journey it will be during the, not as rainy, summer when she can explore more without having to worry about our muddy pawsies! She would love to stay in one of the trailers!

 It stopped raining for awhile and we headed out on the Discovery Trail which is within walking distance of the Sou'wester! We went north for like 87 miles (or maybe 2).

 We saw cool dolphin statues...

 ...and I even posed on it!

 Of course, Mama had to stop and take 87 pictures and I had to keep her moving so we could catch up to Daddy!

 We saw some COOL kites!

...and some wooden whales...

We all saw our very first Bald Eagle in the wild and we didn't bark at it or anything!!

With all the rains, Mama didn't get as many pictures as she would have liked, but we had a very relaxing time at the Sou'wester!!

Oh My Dog, our favorite time of the month, #Chewyinfluencer time!!! 

Living in a small town in a rural area, Chewy.com is always our go to place for our food, toys and treats! We love their fast delivery and, not only do they have around the clock customer service, but we have NEVER talked to a customer service representative that was grumpy or rude! They are always so friendly and helpful!

 This month, we are reviewing Lamb Meal flavored Earthborn Holistic Earthbites!  They are grain free and gluten free and made from whole food ingredients which make our Mama happy! They also have important Omega 3 and Omega 6 stuffs that are good for our furs!

 They are almost as big as a quarter and about as wide as a pencil, Mama was happy and amazed at how easy they could be torn into smaller pieces.

 

 We were NOT thrilled at how easy they could be torn...because we would have rather eaten whole ones!

Come on Mama, bring on the taste test!!

(Bilbo refrained from tasting because, once again, he was napping)

I, Jakey, was not thrilled with them at first taste. In fact, Mama had to ask real nice before I would eat the first one. But once I tasted it(and Arty ate his), I wanted another one(and another and another).  

I give them 2 Paws up!

 

I, Arty, loved them, and would be more than happy to eat Jakey's share too!  

Four paws up from me for sure!!

 

That's a total of 6 paws up for Earthborn Holistic Earthbites(Lamb Flavor)!

Snooping Sepia Caturday Art-y

"Daddy...is that you snooping around out there???"

Mama made the picture sepia in her Lightroom editing program and then went to PicMonkey and used the "boost" effect, a bit of tan frost and a matte frame to create my Caturday Art-y today.

Sequoia Gardens in May - Flower Friday

Welcome to Flower Friday!! 
Mama here today, with Angel Dory's help, to show you around the May flowers blooming at Sequoia Gardens!! I'm excited to see the dahlia plants starting to grow. I'm hoping by July, the garden will be brimming will color!

In the meantime, there are more than a few orange daisies popping up!

I am missing my alter ego. 

Where Dory never met a stranger, I am more of an introvert...

This flower has me stumped...so many soft beautiful layers.

The Wysteria bloomed quickly this year, but it was beautiful while it lasted

 

The  yellow columbine is beautiful,

...as is the purple columbine.

I love the pale colors of these flowers...I believe they are also pansies, but the flowers almost look  snapdragon-"ish"!
