Thankful for Autumn Weather

Today, I am thankful Autumn has finally arrived here on the Northy North Coast of California. October was still pretty warm but then November arrived! The temperatures have cooled down, and the air has that crisp Autumn feel. You know the feeling, when all you want to do is zoomies around the backyard?!

 The leaves are also finally turning beautiful colors and starting to fall from the trees. There is something special about feeling crunchy leaves under your paws during a hike!  

 

I know that the Howlidays are right around the corner but I am thankful for the quiet part of Autumn in between Howlaween and Thanksgiving.

I think this part of Autumn may be my most favorite part of the year, and not just because I look so beautimous in my orange bow and pumpkin bandana...teeheehee

Did You Say Treats?

 

Can you believe Mama actually called me stinky last week?

... that's not the worst of it either! After calling me stinky, she gave me a BATH!

 

 

 

Seriously Mama, a senior boy is expected to have a certain level of stinkyness

and now you are washing all that well earned fragrance off....

 

 

What's that Mama?? 

Treats?? 

The extra good special treats, right???

 

Mmmmmmm, extra good special treats always help me get through anything!

Do your peeps give you extra good special treats when they want you to do something you don't want to do?

This weekend I was in charge of Mama blanket tying snoopervision. After she spent most of the day Saturday procrastinating, I put my paw down and told her hop to it!!

Rosy Roses on Nature Friday

 

Today we're heading back to the Humboldt Botanical Gardens for a look at.....

 

 

 

 

Rosy Roses!!! 

That's right, the roses are still blooming here on the Northy North Coast of California and what better time to show them off than on Nature Friday!! We hope you'll join us and post a picture of what nature is up to in your part of Blogville!

 We found these pretty roses growing over a walkway arch, aren't the pretty??

This pretty red rose is just starting to bloom.

 

 

 

 

 

I really like this orange and yellow rose. 

It kinda looks like a sunset, don't you think?

 

 

 

 

 

This rose is a mix between pink and purple!

 

 

 

 

 

But my favorite is this beautiful pink rose. 

I am sending this Rosy Friendship Rose to Phenny and Nellie who always leave a rose for me on Nature Fridays!  Thanks Boyz!!!

Thankful for the Tooth Fairy

 

 Sunny here, joining Brian for Thankful Thursday!

 

Today I want to say how thankful I am for the Tooth Fairy!! For the past month or so, it seems like all my baby teeth have been falling out! I was worried that maybe I was going to have to start eating soft food...but everyone in the house told me not to worry..I still had PLENTY of teeth in my mouth(funny, they especially told me that after games of tug and bitey face).

 

 

 

Mama and Daddy told me to put the teeth under my pillow and the Tooth Fairy would come.

At first, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, sheesh,  I don't even have a pillow! But the pawrents said to put the tooth outside my room when I went took a nap and the Tooth Fairy would take it from there.....

Meanwhile, the tooth fairy takes the tooth and flutters out to the back deck!

 

 

 

 flutter....flutter...flutter...

 

Hi effurybody, it's me, Rosy

The Tooth Fairy!!

Did I hear Sunny lost another tooth??? 

 

 

 Yep, looks like it is one of her sharp teeth too!! Hopefully, this will keep her from biting me..I mean biting ROSY too much!

 

...but I digress....

 

 

 Let me just put the tooth in my magic sparkle cloud,

 

 

Wave my wand

and say the magic words...

 Bippety Bobbity BOO!

 

 

and Voila!!

 

 It replaces the tooth with COOKIES!!!

 

 

 

Naturally,  the tooth fairy gets one cookie as payment and the other two go to Sunny! Maybe she'll share with her sister Rosy!
