Thursday Walkies in the Trees

Greenery
Our new state has lots and lots of trees.....no squirrels...but LOTS
of trees. Today's trees are from the Redwood National Forest that is south of our town. We took a ride on the "Avenue of the Giants" which has lots and lots of OLD (and BIG) trees.

LittleDogBigTree
BIG BIG trees.....Look how very small I am next to this tree.  This is a Redwood Tree.

Vampire-Tree
Here is the Immortal Tree that has been alive for around 1000 years, and has lived through a lightening strike and flood AND an ax trying to cut it down!!

Redwood-Dory-Chair
Here is me taking a break and sitting in a chair made from some wood....It could have used some cushions.

MortalTree
Mama made me sit in this tree in search of the "perfect picture".
Next time take my silly string off woman...and focus more on ME and less on the silly tree!

Pretty-Sun
We walkied until the sun came out...then Mama said we had one more stop to make before we went home.....

Whereto-Now-Mama
Stay tuned for tomorrows look at "sea doggies"!

  2. Holee Molee....those trees are HUGE! It would take brudder Max (DaOdderWeenie) about 87 years to completely wet that one down!

  3. My Dog, we don't think we have ever seen bigger trees than those! Elliot said he wishes he could come over and pee on them all.

  9. My human uncle lives in the redwood forest. Did you see him? Those trees have seen a lot of life (and a lot of pee mail, no doubt). Such a wonderful adventure.
