Happy Flower Friday everybody!!! We can't believe how fast the past week has gone!!
This week we are going to be showing you the blossoms around the backyard...
Our Cherry tree is very confused this season....and only has a couple of blossoms.
Here is one of them, isn't it pretty??
Our Jasmine is blooming and smelling wonderful....
OK....Mama thought these were begonias, but is wondering what everyone else thinks....
Any ideas on what type of flower this is??
Our lilacs also are sparse this year...but they still smell good!
Here are a couple of rare brother flowers...BOL!!!
One of our little yellow roses!!

Last but not least, a few of you saw our fuschia in the background last week.

Momma's sez dat flower is commonly called a geranium... and she'll post a picture of one of ours. But she sez it's really a Pelargonium or Storksbill.
ReplyDeleteIn fact she said she has real "species" geraniums which are blooming, too-- she'll put one of those up, too. Those come back year after year.
Then she started blah blah blahin' 'bout how they all usta be in da same genus and later bein' separated out... but I nodded off....
Yer fuchsias are beeyoutifull!! It's too hot to grow dem here... but Momma luvs dem.

those are some beautiful flowers - that is one thing Mom is missing now we have moved - we don't have any flowers in our garden - yet :)

Oh your yard is just full of beautiful blooms! Mom says that flower looks like a geranium but the leaves are different. So maybe a type of geranium.
