Hiking Flower Friday



 Welcome to Flower Friday!! I am your guest host Arty! Today, let's take a hike around Trinidad Head Trails!



 These are some of my favorite trails and this time of year
there are lots of different flowers to see!!
Come along and I'll show you a few of my favorites!




Here is an Orange Monkey Flower Bush.
Funny, they don't look like monkeys!




These are some itsy bitsy forget-me-nots!!
Mama just loves their little yellow middles!




 Mama thinks these may be some kind of fawn lily...but can't tell for sure!



There are bunches of pink fireweed....
...and lots of these sea witch flowers!!



Thanks for joining me for my Flower Friday hike! As always, it's been a blast (even if Dory makes me dress like a girl  in order to host)!!


Here is a slideshow of some other flowers we saw on our hike! Mama put some ocean type music in the background because all during our hike we hear waves hitting the rocks all around us!!

    Love your different names for what I know as cow parsley (witch?) and willowherb (fireweed?).... the white creeper is potato vine (Solanum). How lovely to see different things in a new place - or for that matter familiar things in different setting!

    Lovely Flower tour from you today, Arty. We may just have to leave that video playing over and over today as our Mom just loves the sound of waves crashing:) We don't understand why she chooses to live so far away from the ocean.

    We LOVED your flower hike, Arty! And that video was really great! I listened to the ocean. Funny... the Kansas Ocean doesn't sound like that. Go figure. Mom liked the daisies in the vid - they always make her smile!
