Finally...A Walkie!!!

Arty here today!! After last week's Wordless Wednesday, some of you may have been wondering if Mama EVER took me out for walkies last week. As you can see, she DID!! After whining and crying (and waiting for a break in the rain) we hit the trails!!

Come along and I'll show you what I saw!

The sun was out and it was a balmy 51 degrees F, a most beautimous day for walkies! The trails had some mud puddles, but I managed to not splash in every single one of them avoid most of them.

There was some wonderful reading to be had, here I am reading a new novel by Stephen King's Corgi! He is the dog behind the author for sure!

Mama and I saw our shadow twins.

They were WAY long today, and pretty scary, so we made sure to give them slip at our next turn!!

I have decided that, since this pond didn't have a name, I would name it
The Arty Pond!! What do you think, catchy right???

After all of that cool walking, Mama and I came home and, while she and Dory caught up on Blogville gossip, I took a much needed nap!!

Did you all get out for walkies this weekend???

  10. All the rain sure turned things green. It has gone below zero here, so our walks are only 20-30 mins right now so we don't freeze to the pavement! Later this week it will warm up.

  26. That is definitely The Arty Pond!!! We finally got a very brisk walk yesterday AND again today. Today was a tad warmer, in the low 30s, but the sun was out and there was no wind. So we convinced Mom she needed a walk:)

Hope you can get out to that pond again this week, Arty.
