Arty here today, I am postponing my usual pawitical post today to ask for some POTP for my big brother Bilbo.
During the past week it seems he has gone almost completely blind and now isn't eating and drinking as much as he should be. Mama and Daddy are working with our V-E-T in hopes to find something that will help him feel better. His blood and peepee tests looked good as of last week, but we think he is having a very hard time adjusting to not being able to see.
We would appreciate it if you could put your paws together and send healing vibes his way. We see how well this works in Blogville everyday!

Oh my, we are so sorry! My mom is happy Katie has gone almost deaf rather than blind, but we know a lot of pet parents that say being blind is easier than being deaf. I hope it is nothing serious causing this and he will start to adjust. Prayers for your sweet brother and a big GBGV Paw Hug too.

Bilbo sweetie, we are crossing all our paws and hands in prayer for you. We are hoping that the Vet can figure out what is going on. We know you have got to eat and drink to keep up your strength. Maybe guiding you to your eating spot and hand feeding you might help?

ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear this about little Bilbo. Tough getting older. Most dogs adjust pretty well to the blindness as long as things stay in the same place as always. We will cross our paws and send some sibe vibes that his eating and drinking picks up. Hugs to you, Bilbo.

Oh Bilbo, you are one of our favorites. You hang in there little boy. It is so hard getting older but you can do it, we just know you can. Bilbo, it's scary when you suddenly can't see anything. I was lucky because I went blind over a few years but I'm doing OK now, even in my new house. Me and my pack are all sending you lots of POTP and Mommy is saying some prayers for you and your peeps!
