Dahlia Flower Friday


Before we get to Flower Friday, we wanted to have a moment of silence for those effected by the horrible tragedy in Nice yesterday evening.

 Now, we hope we can create a few smileys around Blogville today with some pretty dahlias. 


 Sequoia Gardens has bunches and bunches of flowers this year, including some most beautiful dahlias!!


Let's start with some pretty pink dahlias!!

































How about some some reddish and purple-y ones...



















 We'll wrap things up with some sunny yellow and orange dahlias!


















 We hope these flowers have brightened up your day a little bit.

    a lot of people say the rose is the queen of all flowers... but we think it must be the dahlia... there are so much wonderful variations and they all are so beautiful! Thanks for presenting such a (silen of course!) firework of flowers today :o)

    My Mum luffs Dahlias and has tried on many occasions to grow them but sadly the slugs and snails luffs them as much as she does and they tend to win!

    This post is my favorite!! Dahlias are just SO gorgeous...so many different varieties and colors! We have a few flowers to share today...but it has been SO dry here...many things just aren't growing...like my Dahlias!

    These are just so very very beautimous, Dory... and somehow they made me tear up; such gorgeousness in contrast to the horror.     Those are some of the prettiest flowers - Mom grew a beautiful black Dahlia (which was actually a really deep deep purple but looked black) - they are stunning flowers and your mom did an awesome job photographing them

    We hope the beauty you found in Mother Nature's garden bring some peace and comfort to the world. France has had to endure so much tragedy, it just isn't fair. And when so many suffer, the whole world of good people suffers too.

    Those photographs are so beautiful! And you know what? One of our Mama's favourite flowers is the Dahlia. Thank you for creating beauty for the fallen in France after so much hate and ugliness.
