Flower Friday at Elk River Marsh

Happy Flower Friday!!
Lately, Mama has been looking trails close to our new house. Today we are going to share her favorite walk so far, it may look a little familiar because it's we went for our family walk you saw yesterday!

It's very peaceful in the mornings, she saw lots of Coastal Hedgenettle. The pinks peaking up among the greens really say Summer, don't you think?

Then she saw these cool flowers. They look like little circles of honeysuckle, don't you think? Mama says she looked them up and they are called Italian Woodbine.

What's that I see Mama...is it...

a Rosy...like ME??

The wild rosies are almost as pretty as me and Mama says they smelled sooooo good!!

She saw a few of these pretty yellow flowers...at first Mama thought they were Yellow Lupine, but the petals and leaves are different, these are called Glandweed!

We are closing this week with this gorgeous pink ground cover.  Mama has looked and looked, but even her new APP couldn't identify this...Does anyone have any idea what this plant is  called??

We hope you all have a fun filled and Sunshine-y Weekend
and remember...

  14. You have such amazing flowers by your trails. I loved all of them. Seriously, I had a lot of trouble picking a favorite. I think that I loved the Italian Woodbine because it looks too fragile to live wild!!!!

I love the rose because of you, Rosy!!! You have amazing trails...

I know that I'm too busy when I can't even join the bloghop until this hour of the night! I don't get any computer time during the day! Thanks for hosting!
