Laissez les bons temps rouler or Let the Good Times Roll!!

Today we thought we'd share a couple of fun facts about
Mardi Gras(also known as Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday)!

Mardi Gras happens 47 days before Easter on the day before Lent starts.

Did you know the first recorded USA Mardi Gras celebration was held in Mobile, Alabama?
We always thought it had been in New Orleans!!

We found out the Mardi Gras colors green, gold and purple have specific meanings:
Green symbolizes faith
Purple represents  justice
Gold stands for  power

Do you have any special plans for Mardi Gras???
