Nature Friday - After the Rain

Last week, on the first sunny day after the big rain stopped, Mama and I hopped in the car to find some nature!

Today, I am going to show you some pictures of the things I saw along the nature drive we took along the Avenue of the Giants!

Mama and I were amazed how all the rain made everything green again!!

...and there seemed to be water flowing everywhere!!

We pulled over a few times for Mama to take pictures

The river is higher than it's been a
long time!

We even saw some flowers blooming!!

A little farther down the road was closed because the water was so high!

That was ok though, because Mama pawmised me on a
special walk in the great big redwood trees!

I'll tell you a more about my walk in the forest next week!

Show us your nature! It can be a picture of your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a walk! Any kind of nature picture will do(does not have to include a pet)!

  5. Hopefully the rain will stop for a while so things dry out in your area. It looks very pretty. We are getting another foot of snow this weekend, and then another storm next week. Right now we don't know where to put all the white stuff. Have a fun weekend!

  12. Fabulous drive. How fun you just have to get into the car to enjoy that forest. We'd have to plan a long holiday to do the same.

  21. Other than the redwoods, it looks much like how it is around here in Tennessee right now. High flowing rivers, greenery, some flowers blooming, flooding... in fact, it's raining right now!
