Rosy here today on Nature Friday with my new friend Trixie the Chicky! This week I thought it would be nice to show you and Trixie some of the flowers blooming near us!
These flowers look like a cross between crocuses and snappy dragons.....
Here is the same kind of flower...except in pink!!
Speaking of different colors....why do you have a brown fluffy tail, Trixie?? Chickies are suppose to have feathers!
Mama saw some day lilies blooming...check out their sparkly leaves!!
There were grape hyacinths too, I really like their purple-y color, don't you Trixie??
No Trixie, I don't think Mama saw any nut trees....
Since when do chickies like nuts??
She did see some yellow and white irises though...
along with some purple irises!
and Spring wouldn't be complete without tulips!!
Wait a minute!!!
Trixie, are you a squirrel in a chicky outfit????
Yeah...Ok, I guess you're right, that's fair,
since I am a dog in a bunny outfit!
BOL!!
During these trying times, remember to remind your humans to always have hope....
We hope the Flowers are blooming in your corner of Blogville.
Have you heard about the ISO-lympics on April 16th??
Thanks to Sweet William for the Badge! |

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely colourful flowers and what a pleasure to meet Trixie the Chicky (with the squirrel tail).
ReplyDeleteBertie is already in intensive training for the ISO-lympics.
Your flowers are all so pretty and bring a smile to our faces, Rosey!

ReplyDeleteThe yellow and purple flowers up top, Rosy, are called Freesia - and the have the most exquisite perfume! Thank you for all these heart-lifters... much needed! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Still too early for flowers around here, but the grass is starting to green up. I can't believe a squirrel is in a chicken outfit. That is really low, even for a squirrel!
ReplyDeleteSpring looks lovely in your backyard! Happy Easter, sweet Rosy.
ReplyDeleteYour flower pictures are so beautiful Rosy. Trixie is cute even if she's a squirrel in a chick costume. Of course you make the cutest bunny we've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy...WHAT is the crazy tree rat doing disguised as a Chick, proof positive they are sneaky. (ps I must admit Trixie is adorable in spit of her deceit). Your Mama saw the most gawgeous flowers E V E R and did a wonderful job of snapping their beauty for us.
ReplyDeleteHugs Aunty HiC
Your flowers are almost as pretty as you sweet Rosy!
ReplyDeletethanks for the flowers full of hope... I needed them today... absolutely stunning flowers.. almost as good looking at The Dog In The Bunny Hat... hugs Rosy... I do hope mama washed off the arty/jakey cooties before she dressed you... ha ha can you tell what my mind is on?
ReplyDeleteThose yellow and white irises look like they're flying away!!!
ReplyDeleteWe followed the link, and still don't understand was ISO-lympics are. Can someone please explain?

ReplyDeleteWow! You have some beautiful flowers! Ours kind of got knocked over by yesterday's snow; and today we've got high winds blowing them over. Hope you have a nice Easter!
ReplyDelete(Did you get the squeaker out of those squeaky toys yet?)
Lady Bird Johnson was right. Then and even more importantly now. Beautiful blooms around your house. Happy weekend!
