Warming Up on Nature Friday

Happy Nature Friday! We know many of you have had, and might still be having, freezy cold temperatures this week. Although we do have some friends who really love it when it's cold, for those of you who don't, we thought we would show you some flowers blooming around here to that may help warm you up just a little bit!

Let's start with this sunny flowering Tasmanian Tiger plant.

 Such delicate little flowers!

Then there is this Sapphire Blue, Sea Holly.
Don't the bright colors make you think of Summer?

...and wait until you see what's on the other side of the bridge!

 Blooming rhododendrons!
Aren't they pretty?

Mama loves the way the pink looks against the blue skies!

I found this white rhody close to the ground for Mama.

We'll wrap things up with this beautiful pink rose!!

We are sending warm snuggles to all those who have been effected by the sub-freezing temperatures this week. We especially lift up all our friends in Texas who aren't used to  this kind of weather.

We hope everyone warms up(at least a little bit)
this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  11. We really could use some pretty flowers blooming in our garden. But for now, we'll have to appreciate the pretty snow and the winter birds at our feeder.

  14. Ooooh, I love flowers. Because flowers mean butterflies and butterflies I can catch. Lots better than that awful snow that is cold and freezing in my toes and my furs. Brrr.
