2021 Reflections
Trips in CeCe, oh the places we traveled,
From Carmel to the desert without
our pawrents becoming unraveled.
We saw big trees, and mountains and long windy roads.
We saw pretty ponds full of loud toads.
Such special times we had, my brother Arty and I,
I'm so glad we had them before we had to say goodbye.
A new year is upon us, so much to do
A new home, new adventures to look forward to.
I know we will have so much fun,
But I'll remember Arty and smile as I bask in the sun....

We too miss Arty.
That was such a sweet poem, we all got leaky eyes. We lost two friends in the last week, both unexpectedly, and it is so very sad. Arty was wonderful and when we heard he had passed we immediately were so happy he got to do a lot of traveling before he left. He will be so missed and never forgotten no matter where you live or travel.

ReplyDeleteXena: Sometimes Angel Lexi visits me in my dreams and gives me tips. Not long ago she told me that Angel Arty had found her and he taught her the right way to pass a fire stick, er, baton. And she is teaching Arty how to dance. They're both young again, and free of any ailments or pain. Mommy wants you to know she still misses Angel Lexi very, very much, too. XOXOX Xena
