Today we are thankful we get to see these pretty
balloons flying through the neighborhood!
Well, they aren't just pretty, they are LOUD too!!
We can hear them coming and make sure to bark at them so Mama knows to come outside and see!
Sometimes a bunch fly by at the same time!!
So many balloons, so little time!
We're thankful to see their lovely colors and they are fun to watch but....
I'm wondering if anyone in the balloons could hear your voices?
ReplyDeletethat is a wonderful thing you saw... and we love the color of your sky... the bestest blue ever...
ReplyDeleteThey used to take off right over where Mom lived in Germany. It scared poor Katie all the time and they were super loud and very low. They are quite pretty to look at.

ReplyDeleteBut think, gal-dogs... they could've been jet planes... jus' sayin'! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

How beautiful they are! I wish I could see them flying over my yard.
ReplyDeleteThose balloons sure are pretty. Our dear departed Grandpa owned and piloted a hot air balloon way back when. They are loud when the pilot is warming up the air but then they are silent for a while too.

ReplyDeleteOMDs you got a spa day just in time to welcome the gorgeous hot air balloons parade over your yard. I do so love them from the ground. Not a fiber of my being wants to see them from inside the basket.
Hugs Aunty Cecilia
wow, have never seen those from our back yard, we see planes, all kinds of planes and helicopters and once a kite, but no big loud balloons.. awesome photos. agree with Cecilia, never want to see one from inside the basket, not even tied to the ground.
ReplyDeleteAren't they incredible? Wait until October for the ABQ Balloon Festival. Talk about balloons!! 🎈
ReplyDeleteI like balloons but I don't want to ride in one
ReplyDeleteOur dogs always went nuts when a balloon came over, but they also got alarmed when the Goodyear Blimp would fly over ! (We live near Akron and when the Blimp flies out to cover sports it sometimes comes over) The blimp doesn't hiss,, but the motor sounds like a small plane...except it takes several minutes to approach, fly over and fly off. Small planes never bothered the dogs. And the cats didn't react to any of this
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any giant balloons flying over us. That would be really weird. We like your close-up, Rosey, and that's a great picture of a clean Sunny, too! XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
ReplyDeleteThose balloons are loud girls! Several years ago a balloon landed right in our lake, it was quite the splashdown! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteYou are excellent balloon spotters
ReplyDeleteLulu: "You sure have a lot of wizards heading back to Kansas there!"
