New Fountain Friend

Bird Experts Sunny and Tweety here with another edition of Backyard Wildlife Wednesday. Today for your viewing pleasure we have a new friend, the Cedar Waxwing. Mama says he probably just stopped by for a drink on his way to his Summer home.

He sure is a handsome feathery friend, don't you think?

Don't worry Tweety, he isn't as handsome as you!
Thanks for stopping by little Cedar Wax Wing, we hope we get to see you again!

We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the
Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop this week!

  2. He looks very smooth, but we like bright colored birdies the best.

  3. Maybe that's one of the waxwings that will spend the summer at our house. They are quite fun to watch eating lots of fruit on our trees and shrubs.

  13. A lovely little backyard encounter. Cedar Waxwings are such elegant visitors, even if only passing through for a quick drink. It’s always special when nature stops by for a moment like that, and it sounds like Sunny and Tweety were excellent hosts.
