Rainy Day Tasty Tuesday #ChewyInfluencer

Old Man Winter seems to want to stick around for awhile, and I am NOT happy! While I don't mind if it snows, it seems Mr. Winter has brought rainy, windy days! We are spending a bunch of time indoors, BORING!

When Mama noticed how unhappy I was, she asked if I would like to try out  a Ziwi Peak Oral Health Venison Shank Bone this month for Chewy.com!

We were given a Ziwi Peak Oral Health Deer Shank Bone from Chewy.com in exchange for our(and maybe Mama's) honest to goodness, true blue opinion.

Being the hard-working #ChewyInfluencer I am, I told her I was up for the challenge. A new chew is always a great way to pass the time in my book!

So your saying I DON'T have to share my Ziwi bone with my brothers, Mama?? I guess you're right, they aren't big bone chewers, are they?

Mama likes the Ziwi Peak Oral Health Venison Shank Bone for lots of reasons. First off, chewing is good for my teeth and making my breath smell sweet!  Ziwi bones are also all natural with no artificial coloring, flavoring or preservatives! Finally, the shanks include all the nommy marrow along with natural nutrients AND the bone is wrapped in a beef esophagus to make it extra delicious!!

I think we've talked about them long enough Mama, can I chew it now please??

Mmmmm...Just the right size! Mama ordered the Half shank bone for me. They also have a full size for bigger doggies!

Since I am chewing this inside, Mama put a blankie on the floor to make sure the nommy juices(and maybe droolies) don't stain the carpet. Mama also wants to remind effuryone's peeps these are "under close supervision" bones. Don't leave your pup alone while chewing.

I have to say this is a very delicious bone!! I chewed on it for thirty whole minutes without it getting much smaller! I think this may last a few chewing sessions!

I give this bone four paws, a tail up PLUS a Tongue Out on Tuesday!

Thanks so much to Koru Bear and Pawsitively Pets for hosting the #ChewyInfluencer Blog Hop!

Finding Rosy a Valentine

As Valentine's Day gets closer,  I thought I should find a Valentine for Rosy. I know she likes Unicorns, so I thought it would  be ok to fix her up with my new furiend Korny!

Arty got the wrong idea when Korny frist tried to talk to him, and thought Korny was asking him to be his Valentine!
Silly Arty!!

I told Korny it would be ok with me, but he might want to be careful. I told him how Rosy is very independent, and he shouldn't come on too strong or he might scare her away!

Arty was so shocked he didn't know quite what to say.  He ended up telling Korny how Rosy would probably like it if he whispered in her ear.

UH OH!

At first, I thought Rosy was falling for Korny but then,

 IT happened...

Korny asked Rosy by whispering in her ear!!!
Needless to say, she wasn't ready for anything so romantic! She told him something about how, it wasn't him it was her and how she just wanted to be friends.

Poor Korny!!

He is devastated and has been sitting on the shelf in Mama's office, speechless, since Rosy's rejection....

I guess we should let Rosy pick her own Valentine from now on...sheesh!

You can't blame a brother for trying, right??

Crazy Weather - Nature Friday

Happy Nature Friday Effurybody!!
I don't know about you all, but our weather has been crazy lately. Last Monday and Tuesday were a great example!

First, we had a little earthquake! Don't worry, we slept through the whole thing and all it did was rattle the dishes a little. Boy did it make Mama jump!

Anyways, after the earthquake, it started to icysnowsleet! Not only did it do all of that together(which rarely happens on the Northern California Coast), the SUN WAS OUT when it started! Can you see the blue sky in the picture above.
Totally crazy, right???

Mama made a short movie showing you what I think of the silly icysnowsleet!
You can also watch it HERE on YouTube

I really  hoped we would get lots of snow like my furiend Madison gets in Minnisota. I would love to do snow zoomies in our backyard! Unfortunately, all we got was slushy stuff on the deck....but it tasted pretty good!

It did keep us inside the rest of the day though,  WITHOUT our extended walk time! Mama said something about not having traction-y shoes to walk in the ice because, you know, we aren't suppose to get ice here on the coast of California!
So Piggy and I snuggled the rest of the day...

Then, on Tuesday we woke up to a Frosty wonderland!! There was frost on all our backyard redwoods and our grass!!

There was also ice on our deck. Mama came out with her camera, but after she slippy slided, she headed indoors and I explored the winter wonderland a bit before breakfast!

The crazy weather warmed up to a toasty 50 degrees by lunchtime and we got to go for our walk on schedule!

Has the weather been this crazy where you live???

Show us your nature! It can be a picture of your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a walk! Any kind of nature picture will do(does not have to include a pet)!

New Year's Eve Fun!

Did you know today is Chinese New Year's Eve??

Tomorrow the Year of the Earth Pig(or Boar) begins! The Earth Pigs are, by nature, honest, sincere, peace-loving and trustful. So I'm thinking the next year is going to be a good one!!

The Chinese New Year is also called Spring Festival. Not necessarily because it is getting warmer outside, but because it happens around the same time as the Chinese solar term called "the Beginning of Spring"
You can click HERE to learn more about Chinese New Year.

What I want to know is...
Will there be more bacon during the Year of the Pig???
