Dory-Thinking

Mama told me today that she is going back to work FULL TIME. This means she will be gone FIVE days a week instead of three. She wanted me to tell you that this may effect her being able to visit you all as much, but she is going to do her best! This new job she is going to is suppose to be VERY busy...so no bloggies at work..."sniff, sniff". I am thinking it over and wondering if this full time work thing is ok.....

  6. Hi Dory, I think you need to ask a question or two before you allow your mom to disrupt your life this way. Furst on the list is... Will this mean more green papers and plastic for buying toys snacks and etc. for you and Bilbo???? It that is the case... then I guess you will have to let her do this. I'm just sayin'.

  9. Maybe more work means more money and therefore more Noms and toys? That's the only thing I'd agree to...stick to your guns!!

  10. Well..... can't she get you a computer to use while she's at work? So that way you can visit the blogs without her?
    Just a thought.

  11. I can see all those thoughts going through your mind, Dory, in the photo. A bit much for a carefree pup like yourself. Wish your momma good luck with work and give her a lick to. Do you think she likes being away from you two more days a week?

  13. Dearest Dory,

No worries for we will always be here with you, Bilbo and Mama. We'll patiently wait for your visits whenever your Mama would be free.

Mama's full time work is good news for it means that Mama is making work people happy and they need her more. And that means more treats and toys for you and Bilbo. And lots of fun stories to share with you too when she comes home. Congratulations to Mama and we wish her luck at work.

Do give her more hugs and kisses as she will be working even harder now.

  28. If more Cheetos is what you want, I suppose its OK. Instead why don't you have her enroll you in Doggie Daycare or hire a full time sitter for you and Bilbo. Seems only right to me!

  35. Honey, momma needs to work in this rough economy. Even our momma has stepped up her work here at home and spends less time out of her office. We all gots to make money to buy that kibble and treats!

  36. Poor Dory and Bilbo... I used to hate it that Mom had to go to work everyday for so many years. It is so much better now that she is home on a Re-tired-mints disk-abilities... at least for US! The thing is, our humans NEED money to keep us in the luxury to which we have become accustomed, and sometimes that involves these jobs. It might be a good thing, so be sure to continue to give your Mom all the loving you can whenever she comes home! Maybe you can practice a song to sing for her. My Uncle Buffy used to yodel a song for my Mom whenever she came home... OC
