Grateful Thursday

Today we are grateful for Lifelong Friends Pet Adoption Center! They are a great place that finds furrever homes for puppies and kitties that need it!

This summer has been very, very , very, VERY hot outside and they have had to spend a bunch more green papers on keeping the puppies and kitties that are staying with them. Mama is going to donate 50 cents per comment to help them to keep the puppies and kitties cool during this long string of 100+ degree days!! If your parents want to help too, they can click here and donate, or just tell your friends to come over and comment!!

    We hadn't even thought of that... all of your A/C bills must be through the roof with the relentless heat plus the pups are stuck inside most of the time:( Hope you get lots of comments to help the shelter out!

    Mom doesn't have a lot of spare green papers these days (although she's got a job interview today, so that might change, although it would mean she would spend WAY less time with us, so if they offer her the job, she's going to have to think about it...). BUT... She has some green papers from half.com sales, and she's going to go donate some right now - I can't imagine the AC bills! BTW, you guys look FABULOUS with your short hairs! ;-)

    This summer has been just awful! Yesterday was our thirtieth day of over 90 degree weather, and we usually have just twelve in a summer. It's been the hottest summer in recorded history here for us, so we sure hope that all your friends are able to stay cool!
