Arty: Jakey...did you hear that?? Mama says we are dirty doggies....
Arty: Didn't I just get a bath, like a month ago? It is not my fault that the rain is making my favorite toy...MUD!!
Arty: Uh Oh.....
Jakey and Bilbo: What are we doing here Mama???
Jakey and Bilbo: But MAAAAMAAAAA we didn't play with the MUD, Arty did!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY do we have to go???

This week we are participating in Ruckus's Thoughtless Thursday!
Thanks so much for hosting Ruckus!!
Dory behind every fearful man there is a brave and gorgeous girl. The boys owe you for looking out for them.
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures
hugs your bfff Madi
Oh my gosh! I see you splashing! At first I didn't think you were dirty at all! The coat hides it well. Believe it or not, I never have been to the groomer. MY sapiens do all the work and I have a feeling they are burning out with all my fluff. Thanks for sharing on Thoughtless Thursday (and for the reminder to take a bath!). Bleh, hate that B word.
ReplyDeleteThe lesson is to never play in the mud again.....
ReplyDeleteDip and Elliot x
Yikes a trip to the fur stealers ..... we shudder at the thought. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
we always use the old standby "water makes you shrink"
ReplyDeleteOMD NOT the WATER TUB TORTURE ! Say it AIN'T so.
ReplyDeleteHi, I have to say that Hunter hates the groomer, even though she is so sweet. I think you'll all look so nice when it is all over.
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen & Hunter
That looks like a fun place to get all fabulous looking again. Mud just doesn't shake off like dirt!
ReplyDeleteBath time is never fun! Neither for the bather or the bathed!
ReplyDeleteYuck, I hate baths! I'm really good with them, but I sure don't like them. I'd much rather go to the beach and run around in the salt water to clean off. The advantages of such a short and tight coat!
ReplyDeleteNola
MUD???? WHERE??? We don't see any stinking mud !
ReplyDeleteOh well, we don't like going to the groomer either, but it does feel nice to be clean and soft al over.
Bet you all came out looking fantastic.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Tell the boys to look on the bright side. Lots more petting and snuggling the humans when you smell nice :)
ReplyDeleteOh Dory, I don't gets to go to any FANCY groomer lady or fella...Ma is MY groomer, and lets me tell you...she's NO FUNS AT ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteConsider yourself lucky that you have such a pawsome time and probably gets all kinds of treaties and stuffs!! You tell the boys THAT! It could be worse....Ruby's Ma could be 'groomin' you!!'hehehe
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
That is one good thing about snow...no mud.
ReplyDeleteI am so confused I must have read it wrong, you like going to the fur stealers. OMD you're such a girl!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Mabel Lou gets so muddy every DAY, she has to get a hose down every time we come home. For a dog that likes to roll around in the creek, you would think I'm beating her when I hose her down! OY! The drama!!!
ReplyDeleteDa fur stealers? OMD, run and hide! Saves yours furs!!
ReplyDeleteGreat, now my dad says that we have to go to the groomers on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteDory, it's a good thing you're there to show the boys that it'll all be ok.
ReplyDeleteThat's because boys are SMART! Run, you guys! Run! Come hide under the dining room table with me!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
