I am wearing red in order to raise awareness about heart disease in women (and women puppies!)
My Grandma has had heart issues last year, and I was diagnosed with a heart murmur 2 years ago!
My Grandma had an operation to make things all better! Diet, exercise and medication help me to keep being my happy, healthy self.
So too all my girlfriends, both human and furry, make sure to watch what you eat...get plenty of exercise AND get annual physicals to make sure you all avoid heart disease!!
I'm so happy to see this, Dory! I've been telling stories of women who have survived or are living with heart disease through mainstream media all month (and wearing lots of red to support the cause!). So happy to see a pup like you raising awareness! Much love, The Scottie Mom.

ReplyDeleteHi Dory, I love the red and being Valentine's week is a perfect time to remind all females to take care of their hearts. I take medicine and we've had one female dog with a heart murmur. Thankfully, she didn't need to take any medicine.
