Mama and I (Dory) went for an interesting walk the other morning
We couldn't believe all the birdies we saw....AND heard....
This birdy followed us whole time!! Here he is at the beginning of our walk
We walked for a little bit...."Look Mama......isn't that a
Kingfisher??"
"Yep Dory, and he is eating his lunc....."
""Chirp, Chirp, Chirp...."
There he is again.....Silly birdy!
"Look Mama...it is a Sea Gull,
and look it has an upside-down friend like A....."
"CHURPY, CHURPY, CHURP, CHURP"
Churpy...churpy, churpy....
What do you want Mr. Birdy???
**Silence**
SIGH....Sometimes Birdies can be sooooooo moody!!!

What a nice walk you had. We think that birdie is a song sparrow. We have one nesting in our yard every summer. They can be loud but have a very sweet song too.

How EXCITING! We love hearing and watching the birdies -- and seeing a Kingfisher here is a real treat!!! They zip zip zip around, making it hard to photograph them! Congrats to your mom for getting one!
