With the new Star Wars movies coming out soon, Mama (aka NERD GIRL) has been going GAGA and re-watching all things Star Wars! It also seems like every time she goes to that Target place, she comes home with some new Star Wars costume or other torture device!! You see, she was a young, high school NERD girl when the very first Star Wars came out (oh yes, she is very ancient).
Needless to say....We are getting the brunt of her reliving her youth as she tries to get us to replay one of her favorite scenes....
I, Dory, am playing Princess Leah (not to be confused with the Beautiful Puppachino drinking Princess from across the pond). I think my beautiful in my pink princess dress is perfect for this role!
I, Arty, am playing the role of Arty Two Deety Two!
Mama....I think my buns are crooked.....Why don't we just take them off???
I don't have to stand close to Dory, do I?? You know I don't like to touch other puppies (unless it's sleepy snuggle touching)!!
This is as good as you get Mama....
We hope your peeps stayed out of mischief this weekend!
We are Star Wars fans too! We have you for the Christmas Gift Exchange ! We were hoping you could email us, and tell us a little about each of you. Are there certain treats you can't have, etc? Our email is Katkia222 @ yahoo.com (no spaces). Also, could you send us your mailing address? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLmfao!! I love it. Military Husband is stoked too. Are you an X Files fan? Coming back this spring!!
ReplyDeleteNever got into Star Wars. The only one I like is the Doctor (Who). But right now the season of Christmas is getting closer and closer each day, which means rewatching old favourites and finding new ones. But I don´t think Miss Oswin would be happy to wear an elf´s costume or a reindeer outfit!

ReplyDeleteThe two of you are too funny! We are still laughing at the buns on your head, Dory☺
ReplyDeleteYou all look too cute in your great costumes. Fantastic pictures. Looks like the Mom is sure going to enjoy the new movie.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are out of this world! Thankfully, my mom doesn't have any interest in Star Wars not when it first came our or now, so I'm spared the galactic experience.
ReplyDeleteOH MY STAR 'WARS'. DORY I THINK 'our' PRINCESS LEAH IS GONNA BE RATHER JELLY OVER YOUR
ReplyDeleteLEAH BUNS!! MOL I JUST SAW HER COMMENT ABOUT HER TIARA!!
YOUR MAMA IS SUCH A FUN GIRL. I THINK THIS IS MOST FABULOUS THAT SHE IS EXCITED AND EAGER FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT. GOOD IDEA TO REFRESH HER 'OLDER THAN DIRT' MEMORY BY WATCHING THE EARLIER MOVIES!! ARTY YOU ARE SO HANDSOME I NEARLY FAINTED.
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
that's cute! and maybe you can make your own star wars movie once, when your mom finds more of that cool stuff :o)
ReplyDeleteLady had a good laugh about how cute you are this morning. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou two make a very good Star Wars team!
ReplyDeleteLove the costumes.

BOL BOL Oh Dory, your momma has my Ma laughing her butt off! We are Star Wars nerds here too. You look adorable as Princess Leia and oh, Arty as Arty-2-D-2 is hilarious. I have told my Ma NOT to tell your momma that she found those Pillsbury ready-to-bake sugar cookies that have R2D2 baked right in them in Target. No, she didn't find them at all.
ReplyDeleteYou two are so cute in your Star Wars costumes. We hope your mom doesn't find any more costumes and dresses up the rest of your gang.
ReplyDeleteOh you two look pawsome! You know one of the grandpeeps had his B-day last week and one of his presents was ALL the previous StarWars movies in a DVD set!
ReplyDeletehugs

Santa had best reward you for being so good to the Mama.
ReplyDeleteWow, I gotta bark those are the funniest costumes ever! My Mom is cheering and whooping because she loves that stuff too. She's all wound up about the movie and plans to torture Dad by making him go with her. BOL She adores that Solo guy. Shesh.
ReplyDeleteBTW: R2D2 is totally hysterical!! Great job Arty.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
BOL BOL BOL... laughing now. your mom is a NERD.. tell her i was the mom of a teen nerd when the movie came out... my two sons and there dad dragged me to the movie and i was so upset to sit through it, i told them never again... the next few movies they went without me. but if you were the stars i would have watched it.
ReplyDeleteOh my dawg! You are cuter than Princess Leah
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Looks to me like you two recreated that scene perfectly! Myself and Chris are planning on going to go see the movie when it comes out with my mother. Sadly, Wesley will have to wait for it to come out on DVD to see it for himself.
ReplyDeleteOh, you two are just AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
Dory, you make a very sweet Princess Leah Star Wars style, but you are always a princess. And Arty, we are quite impressed with your R2D2 impersonation. Dad is a Star Warsaholic too. Mom is thankful that at Christmas he will have lots of others here visiting who will want to go see that movie while she heads off to something else with the grandbipeds:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
Our Mum is a geek too, she only has to hear the music to remember the credits rolling, the ship moving into view over our heads.... Man, happy days she says, truly wondrous times.
ReplyDeletePS Dad needs to catch up on the third 'real' Star Wars film before we see the new one.
BOL! We love it! You should go to the movie with your mom all dressed up. We are sure they would let you in!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
OMD! Your Princess Leah buns are adorable! I was also in high school when Star Wars premiered. I have never seen a single one of them, but my daughter has had her tickets to the new show since this summer! She is a HUGE Star Wars fan! LOL ☺

OMD, Mommy already has her tickets for the movie. They are watching one episode every weekend until the new one comes out. We have nerdy Mommys for sure.

ReplyDeleteBOL! I think our mommas need to get together. She has her movie ticket ready! Jessie wore that same R2D2 costume for Howloween, you know! Thank dog I got to be Darth Vader and didn't have to wear hair buns!
