We were so very thankful and surprised by the weather here last Saturday and Sunday...
We got SNICE!
The snow and the ice mixed and made this cool
SNICE stuff!!
It's crunchy like ice...but covered the ground like snow!
The whole backyard was covered with the beautiful stuff!!
We had Rosy stay on the edge of the SNICE until we older brothers made sure it was safe!
All safe Rosy...come on out!!
We sniffed the SNICE and tasted it too!
After awhile...Rosy and Arty gave each other a look and then....
SNICE ZOOMIES!!!
Have you ever seen SNICE??
Today, we are joining Brian for the
Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

ReplyDeleteWell now, that is properly called as 'hail'... but I really like your word for it!!! 'Snice to know you and to see you enjoying it. It happened once in Sydney (VERY unusual there) and Jade didn't like it all!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We are not snice fans and prefer fluffy snow, but we are glad you at least got something white.
ReplyDeletesnice is nice, and i love the ice, but most of all i love the snice zoomies. we miss our zoomies between baby and jake, and now Jake can't zoom any more...
ReplyDeleteSNICE... OMCs my little niece's first ever SNICE!! Is that kinda unusual for your part of N CA?
ReplyDeleteArty whispering here:::: it looks like Rosy is just about to catch up with you in size::: or is it the angle of the photos.

Y'all sure seemed to be enjoying that strange stuff!!! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWe can't remember ever having snice fall from the sky around here. It looks like you all are having lots of fun playing in it.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, we get snice in Texas way more than snow. I'd rather watch it from my comfy chair with a blankie, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm from PA, and I don't think I've ever seen snice. Rosy, you have great brothers watching out for you.
ReplyDeleteSnice zoomies?! Woo-hoo.
ReplyDeleteHere is WNY we have quite a large variety of precipitation all year long: rain, snow, sleet, ice, graupel, ice needles, drizzle, diamond dust, freezing rain, hail, and all kinds of combinations of these. We've never heard of snice, but I'm sure we've had some of that too. Glad you got to have some fun with it! We have some lovely snow falling right now. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteSnice is nice:) We call it sneet. And Sneet is neat:) We would love to join you in those fun zoomies.
ReplyDeleteWe have had way too much ice this week. The kids have had three days with no school in addition to President's Day. They are all getting pretty bored since it isn't like they can go out and play in the snow that we don't have:(
