HAPPY NATURE FRIDAY!!!!
This week I thought you might like to tag along with me during my first ocean walk of 2020!
This week I thought you might like to tag along with me during my first ocean walk of 2020!
It was a mostly sunny morning, so I asked Mama if we could take a car ride around 20 miles north of our place. This way would could look at my ocean and the redwood trees on the other side!
The welcoming committee met us in the parking lot....
Mama loaded up her camera and some water then we hit the trail! I caught a whiff of the salt in the air and knew we were almost there!
Aaaaawwww.....Nothing like an ocean to help a Shih Tzu feel relaxed!
I hopped up on a piece of driftwood and knew just where we would go!
First, we walked along my ocean, stopping so I could sniff all the driftwood pee-mails.
If you have never smelled a fishy pee-mail,
I definitely recommend it!
Then, on the way back, we enjoyed the forest views on our other side....
...where we stopped to soak in all the beauty!
Thanks for joining us today for our first ocean walkie of the year.
I can't think of a better way to start off 2020!!

ReplyDeleteThat sure is a good way to start the new year. I wish I lived closer to the beach to do the same, although I doubt Miss O would accompany me.

Oceans sound fun, but I also hear that they roar. That sounds scary. You are brave, Arty. XOX Xena and Lucy
