Winter in Wine Country

Rosy here today to show you a few pictures Mama took a couple of weeks ago when they stopped in Napa Valley.

Mama thought you might want to see what Wine Country looks like during the Winter.

The little wine trees are all bare and waiting for Spring, and there was even snow up on some of the mountaintops.

Mama asked Daddy to stop here...Mama is a big fan of his movies...but his wine not so much, so they kept driving.

Oh, don't worry, Mama would NEVER drive through wine country without stopping at her favorite winery.

St. Supery is her(and Daddy's) favorite wine,  not to mention their favorite winery to stop and explore.

This is the same place she and Daddy brought Arty last year. They are very pet friendly!

Although some of the other trees have leaves, none of the wine trees...

what's that Mama?? They are really called Grapevines?? But you ALWAYS call them wine trees.
No, I am not trying to embarrass you!

Why yes, I could use a cookie to change the subject!

Why don't we wrap things up with a couple of flowers Mama found:

These pretty purple flowers were part of a potted plant arrangement. I really like the bit of yellow in the middle!

...and of course, Mama found a Rosy, just for me!!

We wish you a weekend full of all the quiet Winter brings!
BOLBOLBOL!!!
Just kidding, I NEVER need any quiet time!!!
Hope everyone has a fun weekend filled with FUN!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE

  5. Looks very nice. Mom lived near a winery in Southern Germany. She used to walk and run by it a lot. It looked similar, at least the wine tree part.

  6. love the flowers, LOVE YOU and really love that tree in the winery photo. I love trees without leaves. they are art to me. I went over to last year post and read it again, and even though I see I commented on it then, I did not remember most of it. such a beautiful place to visit
