Working Out is Hard Work!

Mama says we've been eating a little more treats than usual and that we have to start working out to get our bodies ready for summer.

Since I don't wear summer clothes, I think it's more that SHE needs to start working out and wants me to keep her company, but I went along with her.  You know cause I am her bestest girl.

I put on  my work out clothes and squeaked my exercise weight toy while she did her exercises. I even squeaked my weight extra times cause her weights didn't squeak when she lifted them!

After we were done I waited patiently for my good girl treat.

WHAT....NO TREATS???
No....it does NOT defeat the purpose of exercising Mama, and NO I do NOT want a carrot, I want a nommy bacon treat!!

This is all I have to say to low fat treats!

Do your humans ever put you on a diet??

We are joining our friends at  Comedy Plus for the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop this week!

  1. Oh Rosy, you so look so adorable in your work out gear - how could this all end so badly?
So far, cross paws, I have never been put on a diet, but I must say Gail could always be more generous with the bacon treats!

  4. Rosy, we think you're one of those girls who only wear work out clothes cause you look so cute in them, right? Well, and to get a squeaky, too. I've been put on a reverse diet -- I need to gain a pound or two! XOX Xena PeeS: Lexi got too fat and Mommy replaced some of her kibble every feeding with green beans, and that "did the trick."

  5. We have to work out with Mom by running and walking, but we don't mind. Bailie has to do longer runs which she isn't a big fan of. Soon Olivia will be able to run too which will give us less running time we hope. Bailie had to adjust her food when we switched, but it wasn't really a diet. Diet is a 4 letter word...tell your mom that.

  6. Specially like your hair-ties! But think on it: what good is it to lose .5 ounce while exercising and then gain 1 ounce from eating a treat afterwards?

  7. Carrots for treats is outrageous! You sure do look cute in your workout outfit.

  8. Dearest Niece Rosy...it is times like this that you WISH your Momma would not feel a need to include you in her activities. Good to see your piggie tails so when you are sweating to the oldies your furs don't get in your eyes

  9. Have fun Rosy! The last time one of my humans got down on the floor (to do some yoga) angel Joey dog and I jumped all over him! We thought he was having a seizure or something!

(Did you take the squeaker out of that squeaky toy yet? Just saying.)

  14. We love your little ponytails, Rosy:) Mom says in another week or so her doctor might be telling the OT gal to add some of those weights to her exercise program. Right now all she is allowed to lift is nothing heavier than a piece of paper or a pen.\\Woos, Lightning and Timber

  22. Charlee: "We feel your pain, Rosy!"
Chaplin: "Yes apparently after we switched to new food, Charlee and I both gained a pound, so now we are on a restricted diet until we lose it again."
Charlee: "So unfair! We are about ready to starve to death!"
Lulu: "Hmm, that's a shame." *eats full meal*
Chaplin: "You're lucky we're too weak from hunger to claw you, Lulu."
