Happy Travel Tuesday - A Fun First Day

Arty here today with the first installment of our big CeCe Adventure!
This was our longest adventure in CeCe so far(a total of nine days). We spent three days traveling to our destination,  three days in Twentynine Palms, California(very close to Joshua Tree National Park), and then three days getting back home!

Rosy and I were chosen for this trip because we are the best doggy travelers(along with the bonus that we get along well in tight quarters). We were on our best behavior again on this trip and the pawrents were very proud of us(as well they should be)!

The first day of the trip was our longest travel day and we spent most of the drive time napping. Rosy isn't a big fan of wearing a harness, so I made sure to let her know I was there for her by butt snuggling with her.

We always stop to eat lunch along our travel route. Unfortunately, Mama did NOT share her lunch with me and I had to settle for a cookie instead. After lunch, we got back on the road and just a few hours later we arrived at our first stop, the Flag City RV Resort in Lodi, California!

We all split the chores when we set up CeCe for the evening.  Daddy gets the outside stuff like hooking up the electric and water. Mama gets the inside ready by putting the rugs down, making the bed and getting the kitchen set up.

Rosy and I help by staying out of the way and eating our dinner!
 Sounds fair, right??

After dinner, we usually take Mama and Daddy for a walk to get some exercise. Along the way, Nosy Rosy likes to see what our neighbors are doing.

You should have seen the look in her eyes when Mama showed her these cute kitty kampers! Let's just say she was VERY excited!

Since Mama was nice enough to point out the kitty kampers, we decided we would let her pose us on the park sign so she could get a golden hour picture.
(Can you see Daddy spotting us behind the sign? BOL)

After our walkie, it was time to relax! Rosy snuggled with Daddy while the pawrents watched a movie.

I, on the other hand, made time for a little pre-bedtime sucky toy time!

Needless to say all slept really well together in the big bed that night!
(Mama asked me to mention that one of the main the reasons we picked CeCe is she has a King Size bed big enough for pawrents and puppies)

When we woke up the next morning, Mama and Daddy packed CeCe up,
we all ate breakfast and started all over again!

We'll be back on Friday with a look at our next destination and the Nature we found
there!!

We are joining Sandee at  Comedy Plus for the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop this week!

  3. So far the longest trip Olivia and I have done is the 6 day, but we hear there may be a 12 day coming up before Christmas. As far as helping, we always get the bed worn in when we hit the hotel room. Mom schleps the luggage in and unpacks what we need. We both love traveling just like you two do.

  6. I did not know that RVs come with king size beds wow. I thought you were both being really good sitting on that sign but I should have known Daddy was nearby. I did not see him until you mentioned him and the two of you look like you had an absolute blast on that trip and I enjoyed seeing and hearing about where you went and how long you were gone. Glad you explained why the other two were left at home

  7. Dearest Rosy and Arty OMDs good behavior paid off royally. I'm so excited to read about all yur adventures. OMCs if that had been Angel Madi sitting on the table she woulda lasted about a nano second. Talk about being Nosy she would have been strolling the grounds on a meet and greet.

  8. Oh that sounds like so much fun. I wouldn't mind travelling like that - a home away from home!
Arty you do look so happy.

  9. How fun and there's no doubt about that king size bed. It's important that you can all sleep together. How fun and you went right past where we live. So close and yet so far away.

    You're so adorable.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥

  10. Wow! What a big adventure! I wish Chester didn't get so scared and shaky whenever he has to go anywhere in the car. He's such a homebody! We're looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip.

  13. It's wonderful you two get along so well on a long trip like that. Arty, we love the picture of you smiling at the camera with your face hair flaired out on each side! We would have missed your dad in that one picture if you hadn't pointed out he was behind y'all. We're glad you had such a good, relaxing trip. XOX Xena and Lucy
