There she is again Rosy!
Hey Millicent, when are you going to come down here and let us chase you!!
Well Sunny, I don't think that will be anytime soon, I do believe you and your sister want to eat me!
No, really Millicent, we wouldn't eat you, just chase you around a little bit.
Speak for yourself Ro...
WAIT
I mean, that's right, we just want to play!
I think I'll just stay up here, happy and safe, where you girls can't get me.
That's alright Millicent, we're happy to stay down here until you are ready to
play with us!!

ReplyDeleteIt's not nice to chase the birdies, girls. You two do look like you're having fun playing in your yard though.
ReplyDeleteOM MY DOGS Millicent the Morning Dove...that cracked me up.

ReplyDeleteMillicent is a very smart girl☺
ReplyDeleteThat dove is very smart and you'll never get to chase it. It's a good thing, because we never want to hurt anything. You're all so cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
We have lots of mourning doves around here too. They come in flocks to eat the seeds the other birdies drop from the feeders. Much to Chester's dismay, they always fly away when he comes out to play.
ReplyDeleteOh how I like this
ReplyDeleteMom loves that name and it is on her list of girl names for puppies. Good luck getting that bird!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Ooh! You have a potentially dopey bird in your yard?"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "We'll be right over!"
Well, it looks like your birdie friend isn't as dumb as some of her 'cousins.' Hope you'll find a suitable substitute playmate soon.
