Travel Tuesday - Snow!

A couple of weeks ago, I was pupnapped...
Again!

Little was I to know, this pupnapping
would be much more rewarding!

We went up hill for about 87 miles(or maybe 10)
and found.....

 SNOW!!!

It seems the pawrents thought I might like the chance to take a little hike in some deep snow. There hasn't been any measurable snow at our house this Winter, but, only an hour away, in the Sandia Mountains(the ones we can see from our house) there is a bunch of snow!!

As we drove up to the tippity top of the mountain the snow kept getting deeper and deeper!
We saw snowmen....

...and beautiful views as we got closer to the top.

When we got as close as we could to the top...

The snow is deeper than deep!!!

They have lots of wildlife in the area

...and just look at the view!!!

That is all of Albuquerque and its suburbs down there!!

Here is a video Mama made sharing our journey:

You can also watch it HERE on YouTube

I have to say, this adventure was definitely worth being pupnapped!

  3. We are super happy that you got to find some snow. Too bad you haven't had any at your house, but at least there is some not too far away. What a pretty view you had too.

  4. Wow what a view from the top and I love the view of Albuquerque from way up high! The video is exactly what I would like to be able to do to leave my home in the bright sunshine and drive to the snow and play in it like you did and then drive back home. You don’t have to live in it but you can visit it nothing could be better than that! And you dolook absolutely adorable in that hat ! I noticed a few places that if you stepped off in it you would disappear from site. It looks like a lovely day trip to me thanks for sharing. The roads looked well taken care of of course the steps did not

  6. Your views are just gorgeous, Rosy! Mom loves it when you see autumn leaves on the trees and snow on the ground.

  7. What a fun adventure you had, Rosy. There is more snow there than we've had here this winter. How great that you can be snow free at home and drive a short way to enjoy a little snow time.

  8. Chaplin: "Good thing they had that sign about the stairs not being maintained, or else we wouldn't have been able to tell!"
Lulu: "So lucky! We could see the snow on the hills the last time we went to the park, but did we go up there so I could play in it? Of course not!"

  13. That is a lot of snow, and you're up really high, and it must be cold, and aren't your feet cold, and did those snowmen give you treats and do you eat the snow, Rosy? *pant, pant* XOX Xena
