River Thoughts

Twisting, turning
on its way to the sea.Seems like a grand
adventure to me.
Creating new bends,
the river flows.
Which sea it ends up in
no one knows.
So next time a river has
you under its spell,
Sit back and ponder
the story it tells.

ReplyDeleteOh Rosy, we just adore your poem. Gail likes to wait and ponder beside a river, I like to explore the water's edge, preferably on a steep bank, so she gets nervous in case I fall in. It's good to keep one's human one their toes and stop them pondering too much!
