Happy Nature Friday, and almost Easter(and Good Friday) to those who celebrate!
Mama visited the ABQ Botanical Gardens last week and we thought they would be perfect for Nature Friday this week!
Spring has just started to Spring here, the trees haven't begun to get leaves yet
But the Spring flowers are making an appearance.
The daffies are dilling...
They sure are cheerful to see after a long winter
You've got that right, Rosy!
Look at these pretty Lenten Roses. They're even blooming during lent, just like their name says!
The planters are filled with freshly planted purple pansies
(say that 5 times fast BOL!)
They have a pretty dragonfly statue just waiting for Summer to bring the real thing.
We'll be back next week to share some pictures of the wildlife Mama saw on this trip.
Plus, Mama says she'll be back to the Gardens in a couple of weeks to see things when the trees get
leaves. So I'm sure we'll get to see even more pictures in the future!
We hope everyone who celebrates has a wonderful Easter Weekend filled with lots of nature!!
Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
How lovely to see all those daffies dilling, and all the other flowers in bloom in the ABQ gardens.

ReplyDeleteOOOOHHHHHH>.... is this the alternative to the dahlia gardens, then? We'll look forward to seeing it in all seasons! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Our weather is starting to warm up today. We don't be going out much for a few weeks because all the people who never go out will be outside. After a couple weeks they all get tired of walking and then it is much nicer out again. Happy Easter weekend to you all!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ~ we have several public gardens here in the city to choose from, but so far, only daffy's and tulips have bloomed, and weather has been so uncooperative. Very hot/humid for a day or two, stormy, cold and grey the next few days. Mother Nature just keeps going topsy turvy and all the flowers and plants and trees are quite confused ~
ReplyDeletewe love daffies dilling and the gardens are spectacular. LOVE those plantters. they would be attractive even without pansies. also those gardens have two cutest bunnies ever in them
ReplyDeleteOMDs ABQ Botanical is amazing. I could stroll furever. BOL BOL
ReplyDeletePeter Piper Picked a Peck of Planted Purple Pansies. Aunty C's tongue is 100% tied.
Thank Mama for the wonderful tour and I will eagerly await her next trip.
Hugs your aunty C

ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "I wonder if they would let me play in the fountain ..."
You doggies are most adorable and best Easter bunnies I have seen ~ Xo
