Mama is wrapping up her Texas road trip adventures today. You know, the trip where she abandoned Sunny and I at home with Daddy. Yes, Daddy gives us cheese and spoils us rotten...Unfortunately, Daddy does NOT make puppachinos for us every morning!
Anyways...here are some peeks at Mama's long drive back home!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The drive home was full of giggles, good food, napping(my niece) and listening to Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and other upbeat tunes!
The Blubonnet Cafe opened in 1926. The restaurant holds so may special memories as we have been coming here with my parents since they moved to the area in 1999. My niece (now 26) has been coming here every year since she was born!
Always in search of "off beat" coffee stops, Mojo Coffee was a fun and delicious way to start the long drive back!
Buccee's Forever!
Texas is the "birthplace" of Buccees, so we made sure to make it part of the ride home!
You can't leave Buccee's without buying something. I thought this Cowboy Duck air freshener made a nice addition to my collection of quackers.
Thanks Sunny, for letting me share my trip to Texas with our friends.
I suppose it's ok, Mama, but Rosy and I expect double puppachino's for at least the next seven days!
We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the
Happy Tuesday Blog Hop this week!
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks, galdogs, for letting mama have her holiday and to tell us about it... absence makes the heart grow fonder, don't you find? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
What a fun trip with so many great stops along the way. You have us wanting to reach through the computer and grab that yummy cinnamon roll!
ReplyDeleteThe last time we were in the south about four years ago, we didn't know what that "Buccees" thing was so we never stopped. Now we know when we go south and see those signs we have to stop. There is even a sign for Buccees in WI along the highway. It says something like only xxx miles to the next Buccees.
ReplyDeleteOMDs Nieces Rosy and Sunny...what absolute fun mama had on her TX road trip.
ReplyDeleteThat cinnamon bun looks deliciously sinful
Now Aunty C says Mom needs to double up on the puppachinos. thank you dogs that Mama didn't bring a Buc-ee home
ReplyDeleteA trip to Buc-ees is a must see whenever you're in Texas. It's such an amazing place. I'm still in awe of that wall of different kinds of jerky!
