I have been offered a BRIBE...

I have been offered a bribe

Mama went to the store this morning like she usually does on Saturday...When she got home she said she had a B-R-I-B-E for me....First I asked her what exactly a B-R-I-B-E was. She said if I dressed up like a tree rat (and behaved) for the the little ones that came up our drive way for treats ...then I could have the goodies that she bought later tonight.





This is a pretty cool bribe....New squeaky stuffy, new bandana, my favorite rawhides, a new VERY LARGE Bone...and CHEETOS!!!!!
(note from Mama: the cheetos are mostly for Dory's Dad, she will get a FEW...but shhhhhh don't say anything)

I don't know....that tree rat costume is pretty humiliating...


Don't Know What to Do 

Hmmmmmm...What do you guys think I should do??? 
For Cheetos...it might be worth the humiliation, plus there is lots of attention to ME involved.

I will have to think about it...

    I'd tell her to put it on Bilbo and let you wear the cute bandana! Or at least wear the bandana over the squirrlie horror show? Puffers would squeeze into that 'thing' for sure for all those nummie nums. And that's a mighty cute bear....does it really squeek? Sigh. Go ahead and make momma happy. Maybe next time she'll take you to the groomer to make up for it. Hold out for pink nail polish.

    Everyone has their price, and uh, frankly, I think that pile of stuff would pretty much meet my price. (And you could tell Tank that you are going undercover to infiltrate the ranks of the tree rats...) So, I'd do it (if I wore costumes). I mean, Cheetos are involved.... I'm just sayin'....

    I am pretty much opposed to this bribery. But I see most dogs say go for it. I say OK, then, do it under one important condition:

    NO, NO, NO PHOTOGRAPHS! NONE AT ALL!

    That is the only way I would consider it.

    Hi Dory,

    We're quite divided here. Fudgie, Frappie and I say yes go for it! We love to dress up, you see. It is a cool costume and as some of furry friends have mentioned previously, you could pass off as a huskie! (Maybe you just need to hide the acorn.) Mocha, Scrappy & Bullet are not too convinced with wearing a costume unless you will be allowed to rip it apart after. Sugar could not vote since he is still staring at the bribery of treats your mama is offering.

    Would it help if you just convince to Bilbo to be the tree rat and you split the bribe with him? What do you think? =)

    Dory, you know how much I love you. Sometimes we do have to play along with the Mommies silly games to humor them. You could try to have fun with it and also do some spying on the real squirrels and find out some secrets. That treat pile is pretty big, I don't think I could resist it.
