This Week in My Backyard

Summer is definitely here in Texas. Time to wear my hat, sunscreen and drink tons of water so I can spend lots of time in my backyard!

This week Jacob shows us how high he can jump....

More teenage birds beg for food...

and of course we are still trying to catch you -know-who...

Here is our slide show (with bonus video footage):

Don't forget to hop around today as part of the Saturday Pet Blogger Hop hosted by Life with Dogs, Baby Patches and the The Two Little Cavaliers.

  3. Miss Dory,
You certainly have a lot of hats. They all looks kind of big on your wee self.

I say give up on the squirrels. Maybe if you ignore them they will lose interest. Besides, it is too hot to be running about.

  13. Great shots. We sure hope one day you will catch that squirrel but I am betting that the squirrel is pretty darn fast. The hat is terrific.

  20. You sure have alot going on in your backyard. We get no birds here cause Banjo chases them all away and the squirrels stay up in the neighbors tree so we never get a chance to chase them. Jacob sure can jump high! Dory you look real cute in your hat. Summer is here too!

  31. Jacob must have some awesome gluts there to have the power to spring up THAT far! The squirrel had better not let his tail hang down, that's for sure! Good reminder about how to stay safe in the summer heat, too! Have a great week, Dory, Bilbo, Jacob and Parents!
