Flower Friday on Hammond Trail

Today on Flower Friday, I'm going to take you on my walk along the Hammond Coastal Trail!
 Mama loves this trail and will walk  all the way from one end to the other every now when she is pup-free. When she brings us, we mostly we walk different legs of it.


I was going to do a big photoshoot with the flowers today but, as you may notice by the look on my face, I am not a happy camper. You see,  MAMA LEFT THE REWARD TREATS AT HOME!!!
Needless to say, I do not work for free!!!



The thistles are blooming, the thistles are blooming!!

 So are the fuschias (ok, they bloom most of the year here on the North Coast)!!




We aren't sure whether this is some kind of Morning Glory or Begonia, they sure are red though!


This little red flower beat all the odds and grew through the fence!!!

Mama agreed that we could stop by and get a puppachino on the way home, hurray!!  I decided this was worth at least one smiley picture!!

    Aunt Dory, Mommy forgot the treats!!! I am learning very quickly that treats are a very impawtant part of everything. The flowers were all very pretty and you were a good sport to go along with it. I bet she won't do that again.

    Forgot the treats? FORGOT THE TREATS??? I would not have moved a single paw. At all!! But I would have probably missed out on the lovely flowers you saw as well.

    Glad there was SOME reward at the end of that beautiful, Dory! You are looking stunning in pink as always little darlin'.... now that red flower? NASTURTIUM. It is a yummy flowering herb actually. Leaves, flowers, stems all make delicious salad additions.... the seeds? You may know them as CAPERS.... yup... that's the one.     At least you got in a smile at the end. I have to agree, a dog should not work for free. I do most of my photos for free, but everything else I demand payment.Very pretty flowers, but not as pretty as you.

    STAND YOUR GROUND DORY...NO WE DO NOT WORK FOR FREE!! A GIRL HAS TO SET RULES AND STICK TO THEM. WE LOVED THE VIDEO AND MY MOM SURELY WISHES SHE COULD WALK THOSE TRAILS TOO. BUTT SHE IS CRAZY PANTS SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO IT FOR FREE!!
