Mediocre Monday


Hi everyone, Jakey here today, I'm looking out the window and wondering
why the skies are so scary around our area.


Mama says there are wildfires burning Northeast, East and Southeast of us causing our skies to be a bit smokey lately....




It looks cloudy out....even when it isn't cloudy...


Daddy and Mama say not to worry about us, we in an area that is right by the ocean and wildfires rarely reach our area




Even the sunsets are looking spooky...
Please send some POTP to those in our area who are being effected by these fires....

    We sure will be thinking of you guys and sending POTP for all those in the path of those devastating wildfires. It's just tragic watching what is happening on the news! Smoky skies can reach for miles...hope your breathing isn't affected!

    I hope the fire stays away from your place and I cross my paws for all peeps and pets and the wildlife in the fire area... I hope the firefighter can win that battle before the fire destroys too much things...

    Wildfires can be very scary. We've got our paws crossed that the fire fighting peeps get them under control soon.

    Having experienced high alert for leaving home due to bush fires in Sydney, I know how this can look/smell/feel. Glad you are okay and will of course include for POTP... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    Oh dear. those fires are still going strong, aren't they? It is scary but it sure makes your sunset look beautiful...and hopefully it will help the plants grow better and stronger in the future.

    It was smoky up here in Vancouver too. Let's hope that we get cooler temperatures and lots of rain. No lightning though.

    This stuff can probably affect lungs, so be careful outside! We've been affected by some of the fires up north and west of us, but it hasn't been too bad this year. We'll hope for some drenching rain to put out those nasty fires so that animals and peoples can breathe better and be safe.

    We were so very happy when your sweet Mom wrote to tell us you were all safe. Those fires are so dangerous. We are definitely keeping all those affected in our thoughts and prayers. Lots of crossed paws too. Hope lots of rain comes along to help.
