Did everybody have a happy National Pet Day yesterday??
I know we did!! First, Mama let Dory, Jakey and Bilbo sleep late and took me for a walkie!!
It was an "all about the puppy" walkie, which meant I could stop and read peemails for as long as I wanted!!
I made sure Mama knew how much I appreciated it by letting her take pictures of me!
We stopped and took a rest (and water) break and then hit the trail again.
Before I knew it, it was time to head back home!
But National Pet Day wasn't over yet!!
When we got home, the rest of the pack was up and ready to go.
Dory wanted to play....
So we had a busy day of playing tuggy and bitey face.
After
Daddy gave us special National Pet Day Greenies,
we all decided that Bilbo had the right idea, and we spent the rest of the day napping and snuggling with Mama.
How did you celebrate National Pet Day???
Sounds like a good day! We had rain (and HAIL again OMD!) here, so we spend most of da day inside and snoozin. But we did get some bread tonite - yummy!

What an awesome day you all had!! It was rainy/snowy here today...we are SO tired of getting our feet wet every single time we go out!! But, we got lots of quality time with mama and she has some MAJOR making up to do since she was gone for FOUR days!! We thought we were gonna just DIE....

ReplyDeleteMondays are always busy for us because Mom has to work in the morning and we both have school starting in the afternoon, but we love it. Any day with nose work is perfect in our minds.
ReplyDeletethat was a super cool way to celebrate national pet day... I dream about greenies now... maybe when I close my eyes and make a wish then they will appear in front of my nose?... or if not the maybe my momma reads my comment and the broad hint hehehehe
ReplyDeleteevery time I see all of your pretty faces, i wish i were close and could pick you up and hug you... or kiss the nose.. or take photos. Jake says every day is pet day in our house, he is the ONLY one and is treated like royalty....

Oh Dory and Bros...not only was my day not celebrated it was forgotten...I got nuttin, zilch, nada! I'm working on a plan for revenge!!

That all sounds so nice! We took our pets (Mom and Dad) on a nice walk, then zoomed on the deck while Mom did yard work. Then we zoomed in the house while she did house work, then we played and played and played -- and then we actually were tired and took naps. That kind of surprised Mom, so that was another gift for her.

Huh, I don't understand why your pawrents made such a fuss over you for National Pet Day. It's not like you're PETS. You're family members!! That's what Momma told us. She said if we ever get a pet rock or a Chia pet, we'll do something special for it.

Oh Arty, we so glad you got to go for a special walk with the Mom and it looks like you had a grand time. We forgot National Pet Day, or at least the Peep forgot about it. Not fair. Glad all of you had such a good time.
