Welcome to Flower Friday!!
Today, Jakey and I are going to take you for a walkie around our
little town to look at our local flowers!
Our first stop is the beach, where we found this little purple beach flower!!
Next, a quick stop by the local Co-Op,
Where we found all these colorful flowers for sale!
This poor little daisy has seen better days, but isn't it the most beautiful shade of orange??
The jasmine still smells divine!
Isn't it pawesome??!! Mama (and Google) says this is
Cornus Kousa fruit on a Kousa Dogwood Tree! Supposedly it is edible, but Mama said we weren't allowed to eat any...sheesh!

Our front yard Bougainvillea is blooming more than it ever has!! Mama loves the wine colored blooms....
These Purple Asters just keep blooming and blooming, season after season!!
We were surprised to see this little rhody bloom hiding next to the house!!
Finally, we wanted to let you know that the pink bougainvillea is still taking over the fence in the side yard!!!

Thanks for sharing such pretty flowers. Those are Kousa Dogwood fruit. We have one in our front yard. We've never tried to eat the fruit either but we do know the squirrels, chipmunks, birds and deer all love them.
ReplyDeleteI cannot rave enough about these guys. I found this Flower Delivery NYC online and ordered beautiful floral arrangements for an engagement party. They were lush, artful and beautiful- not a typical florist. I will absolutely be returning; they did an amazing job.
