Happy Flower Friday!!
Today is also World Smile Day...In our house, nothing brings a smile to our Mama's face like a sunflower!!
With their bright and cheery yellow petals, it is hard not to smile when we see them!
Mama has seen lots of sunflowers at the Farmer's Market.
She has become very smitten with this Sunflower hybrid!
We aren't sure what they are crossed with, but they were sooo bushy and yellow!
It seems like there are so many types of sunflowers...
This one has a light middle..
...and this one has a dark middle!
They are all beautiful though...
..and we love the fact they all bloom in the late summer all the way through Harvest Season!
We all wanted to wish you a very Happy World Smiley Day!!

ReplyDeleteHappy smile day! The sunflowers are beautiful. Mom used to pick them when she lived in southern Germany, but here we don't see many. They had fields of them and you could pick your own.
