Thankful Thursday

Jakey here today to tell you how thankful we are for the adventures we have on our walkies!
For instance, yesterday started out like any other walkie, we waited patiently at the door while Mama got ready.

Then we hit the pavement at a quick pace! We always make sure to walk fast 'cause we know Mama likes a good workout!

Like every other day we stopped and checked our peemail...

...and checked out all the hidey holes in the neighborhood. You never know when you may need to run off a mole!

Then....while we were walking down the sidewalk minding our own business,
it happened!

 WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!
Or at least we WOULD have had a chicken dinner if Mama would have let go of our strings!
...silly Mama, didn't Daddy just have chicken for dinner last night??

Even if we didn't catch the chicken, Arty and I have a great story to tell thanks to our
daily walkie!!

We are joining Brian for the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop this week!

  2. Wow, I've never seen a chikken on a walk!

Momma says Whitley used to see some chikkens on her walks in Hyde Park in Austin and would always try to pull to go to em and acted confused when momma wouldn't let her. She thinks Whitley wuz after free range dinner.

Well well... as my father used to say, "the things you see when you havenae got yer gun!" (not, I hasten to point out, that he ever had a gun - which used to confuse the bedickens out of us...) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. As a puppy, I had school in a barn on a small farm in Germany. Katie came with to class for the play group. On the way out, thankfully on the last day of class, Katie grabbed a chicken. Mom was mortified! Luckily, she did drop it, and all was well, but it was embarrassing! Katie was always fascinated with chickens. Glad you boys didn't get into any chicken trouble.

  8. Lucy is strong AND on a raw diet. Guess you can't get much rawer than that. Guess I'll have to be on the lookout for live chickens!

  16. We would lose our minds if we saw chickens on our walk! We only see a cat or two and lots of squirrels. Daddy always tells Pierre that they are not our squirrels so he can't chase them. LOL! Bentley
