Arty here today for November's edition of Flower Friday! Mama and I visited Sequoia Gardens last Saturday to see how the gardens were doing in the colder weather!
As you can see, most of the color has left...
Although we still found a few blooms here and there
The dahlias do look in need of a nice winter's rest.
We were happy and amazed to see these hydrangeas still in bloom
A little bouquet of fairy hats!
....and look over here...
Some pretty pink fuschias!
I told Mama I would let her post one of her artsy droplet pictures.
Mama and I really liked watching the sun glistening off of the flowers...
I guess there are some pretty things the rain brings!
Along with the color, we did see a few signs Autumn is wrapping up and winter is on its way...
Most of the fairy hats are going to seed...
...as are most of the dahlias.
But we know this means next Spring and Summer there will be an even bigger crop of flowers!
Hop
aboard and show us the flowers blooming in your corner of the world (If you don't see the link here, please click HERE to go to our Hoppity page)!!

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see the flowers. We have snow this morning!
ReplyDeleteYou found some pretty flowers so late in the season. We're with Chester. We only live a few miles away from him and have our first snow of the season here.
ReplyDeleteGrreat flowers, Arty! And you look super stylish today as well.
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed! Y'all sure get to see a lot of nice places!
ReplyDeleteThe prettiest flowers in the garden are you and your sister, dear Arty. I did especially like that shot of the dewdrop hanging from the flower.
ReplyDeleteYou look spiffy Arty. It must have been a nice day trip for you and your mama.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are still lucky to have some color at all! We are down to mostly drab browns here. A hard freeze this week took care of what little we had left.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, we just love your plaid cap, Arty, and you wear it so well!
PS...we thought the Flower Friday hop was next week, that's what we had written on our schedule. This is only the second Friday of the month, isn't it? We just don't want to miss out on joining!
