I learned something new today....it seems that digging is frowned upon in my yard.
WHAT THE WHAT?!?! 33.3% of the yard is MINE and I should be able to do what I want with it, right???
There I was working on my hole to China, when the Mama came up and told me I had to stop my excavation!!!
Can you believe it???
Here is a short video so you can see the progress I was making when I was rudely interrupted:
You can watch it HERE on YouTube
Maybe Mama will listen to my friends. Do YOU think I should be able to dig in MY 33.3% of the backyard???
OH...and don't forget, this Thursday is the

ReplyDeleteRosy, that was SO RUDE of your Mama to call a halt to your digging when you had so nearly reached Beijing. I totally agree you should be allowed to continue.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Bailie and Madison like to dig and Madison always wonders how Mom knows when she has been digging. The muddy, dirty paws seem to give her away every time!
ReplyDeleteROSY it appears the rules at Manor Rosy are the same as here..they change in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteI think you wear the dirt with such grace!!
Hugs madi your bfff

well, YES, you should be able to dig. of course it is not MY yard BOL BOL... Baby girl could dig to China in 30 seconds and no matter what we did she dug.. good luck Mama.
ReplyDeleteoh my how dare she interrupt you! You were doing such a pawesome job!! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteMom is forever telling me no digging too, Rosy. It's so NOT fair!
ReplyDeleteWhy do Moms not like us doggies digging? It is natural and fun and we don't mind a bit of dirt in our furs. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteWe always say that if your mom was taking pictures or video of you doing something and then tells you to stop it must not be too bad of an offense. We think you should be allowed to dig in your part of the yard.
ReplyDeleteWe think digging is a terrific hobby sweet Rosy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you found a mousie scent there. Keep digging. You'll find him eventually.
ReplyDeleteSorry sweet Rosy...I'm gonna have to take mom's side. Maybe dad will take your side? They tend to be pushovers. 😍
ReplyDeleteOMD, Mommas can be SO unreasonable!!
ReplyDeleteDoggie digging is very important for muscle tone and it helps keep your nails short. You weren't digging in the flowers or the grass, just a rocky border. Excellent choice.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, the wee Scottie.
Well little niece, it is very easy to see that you have taken after your uncles. We are very proud of you!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Well, we three would be totally in agreement with you, Rosy, but that is a big no no here too. We don't get it. It is so much fun and we think all the rubbing of our nails in the dirt helps keep them well trimmed. Did you find some good bugs there? That's what usually gets us digging.

We know how you feel. We have chicken wire over our digging spot. Don't understand humans.
ReplyDeleteOh Rosie, you had a good hole started there. What a shame you were discovered. By the way, we love you white top notch. You all have a really nice week.
ReplyDeleteYes! Diggers unite! Mommy tells me, "No!" when she catches me digging in my yard, too. ~Xena
ReplyDeleteDoesn't your Mom know that even dirt has to be redecorated every once in a while?
ReplyDeleteAbby Lab
There must have been something that smelled really good We love how you nosed the rock out of your way. But unfortunately digging is frowned upon here too

Yes, you should be able to dig in your 33.333333333333333% of the yard! We had a pup who loved to dig, and we got him a big pile of wood chips and encouraged him to dig there. A sand pile would work too. It stopped him from digging up the rest of the yard and gave him a place where it was okay!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute, Rosy, that I could just hug you via the screen!
Well....HELL YES! You should should be able to dig as often and as long as you want! I, myself, not much of a digger, butts all my cousins are! Apparently, we Airedales LOOOVES diggin'! Some of my cousins have actually MADE IT TO CHINA! Yuppers! What? That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! Anyhu, just use your puppy eyes to charm your MOms into lettin' you have your space, and NOT gives you a bath when you gets all that dirt in your furs! Just tell her that you're COLORING your furs, like my Ma does! That should work!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
The Dad doesn't like it when we dig, but Momz says that digging is fun and good exercise for dogs!
