Happy Flower Friday!!
Today I, Arty, am hitting the trails at the Arcata Marsh to show you some of the pink flowers that are blooming!
Most of the pink comes from the wild sweet peas.
They are popping up all over the place!
They are in all shades of pink too!!
We also have a couple of other pink flowers too!!
Here is the beautiful Spear Thistle. Mama thinks their pink tops make it look like a little muppet character!

Our last blooms today is the Fireweed, this plant was taller than Mama!

Wow! That's a lot of pink flowers! Be careful around that thistle. It has lots of sharp thorns.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pinks, Arty - they make a great backdrop for your black and white furs!!! We see thistle along the trail on our walks, but they never have pretty pink fluffy tops like yours do.

We have that Spear Thistle growing wildly in our yard - I had no idea what it was! We love all the pink flowers, especially those sweet peas.
