Jakey and the rest of the LLB Gang here to bring you up to date on the plans for No Tricks, Just Treats for Shelter event.
Before we go on, we want to thank all our furiends for their loving comments, emails and cards on the passing of our Grandma. We will miss her a bunch and cherish the memories we have of her.
We've smushed things together a bit and still plan on
spotlighting our Blogville "Helping Paws" this year!
That's right Jakey!
This Thursday we will be looking at Brian(and his peeps) from Brian's Home and their journey helping feral cats. Then, next Monday(October 28th), we take a peak into how Marg over at Marg's Animals got started taking care of her menagerie. On Tuesday, October 29th, we'll wrap up our trio of "Helping Paws" by looking at Legacy Boxer Rescue, where The Legacy Chronicles' Matilda and her angel siblings Casey, Jessie and Cinderella were rescued and united with their furr-ever Mama!
Then, don't forget to join us for the No Tricks, Just Treats for Shelters Blog Hop Wednesday October 30th and on Halloween day, October 31st.
Just publish a
Halloween post letting us know some way you plan to/or have helped a
shelter or pet in need, and link up to the hop. We will be donating $1
per hop entry AND 50 cents for each comment we receive on the 30th and
31st (Make sure to join the hop with a post each day)! Money raised this year will be split between Legacy Boxer Rescue, Marg's Animals and to our local Cat Rescue, HART(Humboldt Area Rescue Team) in Brian's name.
We hope you'll join us this year!!
