Crabbies and Otters on Nature Friday

Rosy here today with my Shark friends Arty and Sammy for a water-y Nature Friday!! This week, I thought I would show you some of our friends that live in the local waters close to our house!

Arty, you and Sammy should go inside now...I wouldn't want you eating any of my new friends!

Now...let's see if we can find Ollie....
Oh, here he comes!!

Everyone, this is Ollie the Otter, he lives near our house in a pond at Hookton Slough where we walk sometimes.

He is pretty camera shy but, if you look closely to the left of the picture, he is munching on some greens along the pond!

Mama, show everybuddy the sunny day pictures!!!

Here is a better picture of Ollie, he sure is a good swimmer!

Oh, he's an expert diver too.
See ya later Ollie!

Sssshhhh, don't tell Crabby over there, but I would love to get a taste of our next guest!

Here we have Carl the Shore crabby!!
Can we get a bit closer, Mama??

Carl is pretty colorful to look at, and I bet he would taste delicious! I know Mama loves to eat Crabbies for dinner sometimes.

Guess who else likes to eat Crabbies??

CARL!!!

That's right, Mama caught Carl munching another crabby!
EEEwwwwwww!!!!

Oh well, such is the crabby life I suppose!

I'm so glad you joined us for a little look at the Crabbies and Otters today. Make sure you join us next week for a very special week celebrating ME!!! That's right, my fourth birthday is this weekend and we are celebrating all next week!!!

We hope you all have a wonderful and non-crabby weekend!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  2. Love the otter. They are such fun animals. We don't know anything much about crabs, but it really isn't polite to eat your friends, right?

OMDs Carl the Crab is a cannibal...who knew they ate their own. I guess that is survival of the fittest.
